San Francisco's Planning Commission is comprised of seven Commissioners, three are selected by the President of the Board of Supervisors, and four are selected by the Mayor.  Two of the Board-appointed Commissioners are eligible for reappointment in May.  Recent uncertainties surrounding the Mayoral election and the occupants of the offices of the Board President and Mayor have only complicated matters.

Commissioners Kathrin Moore and Dennis Richards have demonstrated true commitment to our neighborhood and our City.  Both have brought extensive experience, dedication, and balance to the Commission, and the City would be well-served by their reappointment.  With little time left before the appointment deadline, it's time show our support for Commissioners Moore and Richards.

Two petitions are being circulated to support the reappointments of Commissioners Moore and Richards:

Please take a moment to sign both, and please share with your friends and neighbors!

You also might consider sending an email to Board President London Breed to encourage these reappointments:
  • Address your email to President of the Board of Supervisors, London Breed, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and copy the Board Secretary.
  • Additionally, a copy should be sent to District 8 Supervisor, Jeff Sheehy, as well as the other Supervisors.
  • Please also copy the Planning Commission Secretary, as well as the individual Commissioners.
  • And please don't forget to copy Noe Neighborhood Council!

Here is a handy list of courtesy copies that you can paste into your email client:
